NEW CLAIM REPORTING PROCEDURES FOR ALLIED WORLD POLICIES

Claims with professional liability or sexual misconduct allegations should be reported directly to Allied World as Allied World will be handling those claims in-house.

All other matters (Auto, GL, Property) should be reported to Rockville Risk Management (TPA) for claim setup and handling.

Please note:
Policies bound on or after May 1, 2025 with AmTrust should follow the Athens Administrators claims submission process, as previously communicated. Only policies that are still active or were renewed with Allied World (AWAC) prior to this date should follow the split claims routing outlined in the next column.

In-house claims team

Our dedicated focus on claims has always been a key differentiator for ATP. We have an in-house claims team dedicated to guiding insureds through every stage of the claims process — and ensuring each claim receives a fair, timely and comprehensive review.

How to report a claim

All claims regardless of severity or location should be reported to Athens Administrators, ATP’s third-party claims administrator.

Notices that do not require action (“incident reports”) should be clearly marked “REPORT ONLY.”

The Athens Claims Intake Center will review all claims notices upon receipt and assign to the claims handling office.

A claim acknowledgment will then be transmitted to the designated individual, advising of the Athens claim number and adjuster assigned to the claim.

If after hours emergency claims service is required, please advise the call center agent who will advise Athens to dispatch an on-site adjuster.

How to submit a loss report

Loss reports can be submitted in multiple ways.
