For more than 15 years,\u00a0Addiction Treatment Providers<\/a>\u00a0(ATP), a program built by\u00a0NSM Insurance Group<\/a>, has been solely focused on delivering\u00a0best-in-class coverages<\/a>\u00a0for the addiction treatment and mental health providers who serve our communities.\u00a0While our coverage is second to none, it\u2019s our underwriting expertise, service standards and dedicated\u00a0claims handling<\/a>\u00a0that truly set us apart. No two treatment facilities are exactly alike, and our team has the knowledge and experience to recognize the needs of each and work in tandem with our agency partners to ensure we deliver the best program.<\/p>\n

Question 1:\u00a0 What classes do you cover?<\/h3>\n

Krista Mayes:<\/strong>\u00a0Our program is tailored to the behavioral health sector, which encompasses addiction treatment and mental health communities of providers and facilities.\u00a0Within the addiction treatment sector, we have a particular focus on residential addiction treatment facilities, IOPs (Intensive Outpatient Programs), PHPs (Partial Hospitalization Programs), outpatient programs, MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) \u2014 also referred to as methadone clinics \u2014 and sober living homes.\u00a0We also have capacity for outpatient mental health facilities and programs.\u00a0Our portfolio includes a broad spectrum of treatment providers offering a mix of programs and services across all demographics, demonstrating our commitment to supporting the variety of organizations that play a critical role in serving others throughout the behavioral healthcare sector.<\/p>\n

Question 2:\u00a0Do you write in all states?<\/h3>\n

Krista Mayes:<\/strong>\u00a0Almost!\u00a0The only state in which our program is not filed is New York.<\/p>\n

Question 3:\u00a0What size accounts do you target?<\/h3>\n

Krista Mayes:<\/strong>\u00a0We have the flexibility, expertise and capacity to insure any size risk.\u00a0Our account sizes mirror the diversity of the sector we insure.\u00a0We have a $5,000 minimum account premium and write accounts over $1M in premium.\u00a0The bulk of our portfolio falls into the middle market category between $35,000 and $200,000 in annual premium.<\/p>\n

Question 4: What lines of coverage do you offer\u2026and what about workers\u2019 compensation?<\/h3>\n

Krista Mayes:<\/strong>\u00a0We offer an enhanced package policy, including general liability, abuse\/molestation and professional liability (including primary coverage for scheduled physicians) \u2014 and all coverage can be written on an occurrence or claims made basis.\u00a0The package also includes property, inland marine, auto and umbrella. In addition to these key coverages with our exclusive carrier, we can also help provide solutions for cyber liability and accident and health coverage for participants and volunteers.<\/p>\n

All policies provided by ATP qualify to be included in the 0%-interest premium finance option that we offer through First Insurance Funding, making managing the payment of various policies a simple, single pay process.<\/p>\n

While ATP does not write workers\u2019 compensation directly, our parent company NSM Insurance Group does offer the\u00a0AllComp<\/a>\u00a0program.\u00a0AllComp is exclusively focused on writing workers\u2019 compensation coverage for niche industries and sectors including the behavioral health sector.<\/p>\n

Question 5:\u00a0 Who is your carrier partner? Are they A-rated?<\/h3>\n

Krista Mayes:<\/strong>\u00a0All NSM Insurance programs partner with only top-rated, financially strong carriers.\u00a0ATP\u2019s exclusive carrier partner is Allied World Insurance Company, a Fairfax Company.\u00a0Allied World is currently rated \u201cA (Excellent)\u201d by A.M.
